Structural Designer – Saint Paul, MN

We are currently looking for a Structural Designer to join our Saint Paul team! In this role, you would be responsible for performing design calculations, sketches, technical comparisons, and similar technical work as required by the job assignment. You will also be responsible for the execution of project design, documentation, and constructions administration. 

What you will do:

• Work individually and as a team member on various projects
• Interact with clients and project stakeholders
• Perform analysis of project elements
• Design and draft project elements and component details
• Develop detailed structural drawings based on applicable specifications and work order instructions
• Ensure that the design product conform to engineering design and customer specifications
• Consults with vendors on project related activities
• Coordinates design criteria with manufacturing, material, and planning groups
• Other duties as assigned

What you need to bring:

• Bachelor’s or Associate Degree in design or engineering, or equivalent experience
• 5 years experience of structural design
• Manufacturing experience is a must
