Production Manager

We have a Full-Time, Production Manager position available at CIS (A Vomela Company), a North American leader in large format screen and digitally printed graphics. The primary responsibility of the position is to execute the daily production schedule. This position is key to maintaining inventory, making supply orders, managing team members, and regularly assessing safety standards in all areas.

What you will do

• Scheduling daily production runs and planning for future runs
• Motivating, supporting and providing guidance to production staff
• Ensuring safety and health standards are met to keep an organization accident-free
• Evaluating machines resources to ensure continued production
• Establishing a balance between increased productivity and reduced costs
• Setting productivity goals for team members
• Develop procedures that improve efficiency without compromising safety and quality
• Ensuring adequate scheduling of staff
• Other duties as assigned

What you need to bring

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong project management skills
• Proven record in training employees about safety and production
• Ability to coach and motivate employees
• Knowledge of performance evaluation and budgeting concepts
• Experience in reporting on key production metrics
• Proficient in MS Office and ERP software
• Attention to detail
• Strong decision making skill and a results-driven approach
