‘VomelaVision’ Branded Experiences: Events

June 23, 2026 | Events & Exhibits

Live events don’t give you a second chance. The signage either lands or it doesn’t. The environment either stops people or it doesn’t. And when 59,000 runners are crossing a finish line or a city’s most recognizable intersection is being transformed overnight, execution has to be as winning as the idea itself.

Event work demands a particular kind of expertise—one that lives at the intersection of design ambition, logistical precision, and the ability to perform under deadline pressure that most production environments never face. Vomela has built that capability across decades of large-scale event work, from marquee sporting events to trade summits, bringing the full force of a national network to bear on environments that need to be right the first time.

This is the fourth in a series of posts drawing from our e-book, VomelaVision: A Showcase of Brand Experiences. This installment covers events—outdoor spectacles and conference environments where the physical brand experience must work as hard as the event itself. (Popup events are covered in a later installment. Also, we are happy to announce that all event work is now supported by Moss, a Vomela Company.)

The Iconic 'Red Star' Rocks Herald Square

CLIENT: Macy’s

Every November, the bold red star glows in front of Macy’s Herald Square, setting the stage for the New York Thanksgiving Day Parade and the Rockettes. It’s one of the most recognized pieces of street-level branding in the world—and it hits the street overnight. Vomela’s production team works alongside the Macy’s Parade Studio crew to design, print, and apply a large, tiled, high-visibility decal that is precision-installed under real time pressure. The result is a street emblem that looks like it was always there, even though it wasn’t there eight hours earlier.

Creativity Gets Cranked Up at Accelerate25 Summit

CLIENT: B2 Events

Pattern’s Accelerate25—The Global Ecommerce Acceleration Summit—asked for bigger, bolder, and more custom than the year before. As a trusted production partner of B2 Events, Vomela delivered. The 2025 gathering at the Salt Palace Convention Center, in Salt Lake City, featured a massive 5,000 sq. ft. hanging fabric banner, a redesigned custom archway structure, and a signage upgrade using wrapped letters in white vinyl—alongside wayfinding, registration graphics, and hanging halo signs throughout. The creative envelope got pushed and the deadlines got met.

Fresh Graphics, New Design Are Winners from Start to Finish

CLIENT: New York Road Runners

The TCS New York City Marathon draws more than 59,000 runners from 130-plus countries—the world’s largest marathon by field size. When the New York Road Runners decided a while back to give the race a fresh visual identity around the “It Will Move You” theme, they needed a partner with the scale to execute it. Vomela handled 90 percent of the graphics for the entire event, from the starting line through the finish, covering mile markers, barricade wraps, structural redesigns, and more. The solution came through Vomela’s nationwide network—design, prototyping, fabric printing, construction, and installation, coordinated as a single engagement. The result was a race environment that informed, inspired, and reflected the scope of what the marathon actually is all about.
