The Vomela Transportation Group is actively looking for a Laminating Mounting Technician. This position will be responsible for setting up and operating a hot and/or cold seal laminator. The hours for this position are 7:00am – 4:00pm, Monday – Friday, and overtime as needed.

Responsibilities

•  Performs finishing operations such as laminating, encapsulating, and/or mounting of printed pieces.
•  Performs finishing operations such as laminating, encapsulating, and/or mounting of printed pieces.
•  Threads laminating or encapsulating material into machine, sets temperature, pressure, and side guides for proper feeding of material.
•  Runs proof sheet and secures approval for production run from supervisor.
•  Operates the laminator maintaining proper fit and settings, and feeds material into laminator.
•  Performs routine machine maintenance and minor repairs when necessary.
•  Trims production prints to size specified by customer, when necessary.
•  Requisitions laminating material, film, and supplies as needed.
•  Maintains cleanliness of work area and equipment.
•  Other duties as assigned

Skills and Experience

•  High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent experience
•  Basic math skills
•  Attention to detail
