IT Helpdesk Administrator – St. Paul, MN

Vomela St. Paul has an exciting opportunity for a IT Help Desk Administrator to join our team.  This position will be responsible for managing ticket flow of the help desk ticketing system, as well as fielding front line calls from clients.  This will include making sure each ticket has enough information to be able to start trouble-shooting the issue, or for determining where it should be escalated.  This person will also perform basic troubleshooting and client support, such as password resets, and print driver installation.

What you will do:

  • Serve as the initial point of contact for resolution of desktop, printer, phone, and network related problems
  • Assist in the management of software deployment/upgrades, license subscriptions, inventory, contracts, and renewals
  • Support workstation hardware, software, and operating systems including Windows 10 and newer, and Office 365 applications.
  • Active Directory and O365 user administration
  • Prepare and update documentation, policies and procedures, and help desk tickets
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Required Skills and Experience

  • Strong customer service background
  • 1-2 years’ work experience with end-user support
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work with limited supervision
  • Good time management skills
  • Mac experience a plus
  • Associates degree or related IT certifications
  • Experience with printers, and VoIP phone systems
  • Experience supporting multiple client applications
